I'm Laurie B. and this is my not-so-secret blog, dedicated to my rekindled love affair with manga and anime. Almost all the public entries have some passing reference to Bleach, but I also like a few other titles too, like Nodame Cantabile, Honey and Clover, Rurouni Kenshin, Full Metal Alchemist, School Rumble and Neon Genesis Evangelion. When I'm not fangirling over manga and anime, I'm fangirling over mystery novels and literature in general. I have a degree in Asian literature, and I tend to overanalyze everything. I happen to be an affectionate person in real life, so do not be surprised if I suddenly address you, the reader of this blog, with my usual epithets including sweetie, dearie, gorgeous, beautiful, or gwapo (Filipino for good-looking.) Do not freak out when you read it. I am not coming on to you. This is how I address friends in person when I'm in a good mood.
